about

Ella Smart is a British artist born in 1999 in Bristol.

She is inspired by nature and it's complexity

"my practice is driven by my deep connection to nature and interest in how we interact with it as humans. I see my work as a form of meditation for myself, through ritualistic movements around landscapes and objects as I assembles my work. "

Ella works mostly sculpturally, but has also utilized photography, film, digital manipulation as well as sound in her practice.
