This soundscape was inspired by working with Mikhail Karikis in his work  for Tate Liverpool, Ferocious Love, 2020. His audio-visual installation imagines how we might exist in the future as a result of devastating environmental disasters.
 
As part of the work Mikhail collaborated with the Liverpool Socialist singers to depicted how future weathers might sound. 
I found this use of the body and voice to recreate familiar sounds  very compelling and wanted to create my own version. In response to this, I directed a group of students to mimic continuously a sound they associate with water using their voice. 

The work I created expresses the many different forms and energy's water can take on.
